SPR# MSCB4GJPJM - Administrators and database Administration Servers will now need the GroupModifier role in order to perform Group renames.

Problem:
This issue is under investigation by Lotus Quality Engineering, and a fix is
being researched.Supporting Information:
A person with Author access to the Domino Directory should only be able to edit
a group if they are listed in the Administrators field (on the Administration
tab) of the Group document or if they have the GroupModifier role. The
GroupModifier role will allow the person to edit all Group documents whereas
listing the person in the Administrators field of the Group document will allow
that person to edit only that document.
